Out of curiosity, how are you professional if you've stolen code before?

A couple of years ago, (When I was 12.), I took other people's code when I was learning. I used it as a way to find out what the code did, and it ultimately helped me learn a ton. However, now I can confirm that I do not take other people' code, and I have quite regular design clients.
