Who I am
Hello, I am ShadySylph, a 13 year old writer aspiring to to build her portfolio in writing and Discord setup. That's why I'm here. I hope by building my portfolio people will see that a 13 year old can indeed be of use to them! Below you will find what I do, my schedule/hours, but you won't find past experiences as I hope to build them now! I am always willing to provide examples of my work upon asking.
What I do
Currently, all I do is Writing and Discord Setups. Pretty useless, right? Well, for most, but for RPG servers and others, my skills can be found useful.
For writing I write application formats, NPC dialogue, I do world building, as well as quests and various other writing activities. If the one you want is not listed, just ask me about it!
As for Discord, I do Standard and Themed setups. Standard means the normal roles and channel names, whereas Themed means the ENTIRE server will be built around a theme. My example Themed server invite will be below. However, I will have a few limitations for my Discord servers. I will usually not make any Junior or Senior roles (I do make HEAD roles. e.g. Head Mod. I do not make roles such as Jnr. Mod and Snr. Admin) as setting up permissions for them is a pain, and I will never make over 50 roles unless we have come to an agreement, or you buy a certain package.
What I hope to do
Eventually, I hope for my simple thread to become known as "ShadyServices" which will be somewhere where you can request nearly anything. This would include graphic art, trailers, websites, thread designs, writing, discord servers, advertisement and so much more! This is a dream, however, and cannot be achieved without this thread.
Payment?
Right now, none! As I have no reputation this will be based upon satisfaction and should you like your product I ask for a vouch copy to help me!
Hours
Sadly, I am NOT on 24/7 so here is an estimated hour sheet where you can see when I will reply or what time you can expect your writing or discord done. (Based on EST Times)
Monday-Thursday: 5-6am (will check replies, won't start work), 5-9PM (Will work on projects)
Friday: 5-6am (will check replies, won't start work), 5-10PM (Will work on projects)
Saturday: 5am-9pm (Will both work on projects and reply to DMs/PMs)
Sunday: Will vary, but expect me on in the Afternoons. (Both work and messages)
Why me?
I have seen so many other people doing Discord setups and writing, so why me? Not to mention my hours! Well, I would like to think despite my age and everything against me, I am just as good as any other service. I spend time and effort on my writing and setups, and when I start asking for payments, I am much more flexible. Many setups have their prices set in stone, I however, do not. I am always willing to rework prices should I need to. Why? Because I don't do this for the money, I do this for you, however cheesy it sounds.

It happened 10 years ago. The plague spread around the earth, killing billions of people. Some survived, most didn’t. The only way you could possibly NOT get it was to live in one of the bubble areas. These bubbles were 4 rooms: a bedroom, a bathroom, and the pantry, and the waiting room. Each room would be sanitized every 12 hours, so you had to go into the waiting room. Once the sanitization was done, you went back to your bedroom and the waiting room was sanitized. The pantry had all the food you could dream of. The only problem wa you had to be very, very rich to get one of these rooms, and you couldn’t interact with anyone. I guess it’s a good thing my father was a high ranking official.
Now that the plague is gone, the population has boomed. What was once a planet of 10 billion became 1 billion, and is now 100 billion. And I guess it helps that the few that survived the plague are immune to virtually any disease. There’s just one more problem. There are too many people. So what does the ICC (International Country Committee) do? They decide that the 5 main countries, China (Half of asia), Russia (all of Europe and half of asia), New Spain (All of South America), America (All of North America) and Oceania (Australia, Oceania and all islands) should have something that eliminates those not useful to society. So you know what they have? An aptitude test. This test is full of obscure questions that determine (quite accurately) what you will become. If what you get won’t help society, you’re sent to the Chamber, where you are executed. But, if your parents have influence you may get out of it. Or special tutoring, like I did. They call it a “Mental Tutor”. Someone who trains you and shapes you. Sounds fun? Exactly, it sucks.
