Core Features:​

• Lock Chat: Easily toggle the server chat on or off to control conversations during events or maintenance.
• Color Code Support: Allows players with permission to use standard Minecraft color codes (&0-9, &a-f) and formatting codes (&l, &o, &n, &m, &k, &r) in their messages.
• Permissions Based: Full control over who can use the commands and who can bypass the chat lock using standard permission nodes.
• Lightweight: Designed to be simple and efficient, minimizing impact on server performance.

Commands & Permissions:​

• /clearchat (Alias: /cc) - Clears chat for everyone.
  • Permission: simplechatmanager.clearchat (Default: OP)
• /lockchat (Alias: /lc) - Toggles chat lock on/off.
  • Permission: simplechatmanager.lockchat (Default: OP)
• Bypass Chat Lock:
  • Permission: simplechatmanager.bypasslock (Default: OP)
• Use Color Codes:
  • Permission: simplechatmanager.colorchat (Default: All Players)

(Requires a permissions plugin like LuckPerms to manage permissions)

Compatibility:​

• Minecraft Version: 1.20.4
• Server Software: Spigot, Paper (and forks based on 1.20.4)

Please Note:​

• This is a simple plugin focused on core functionality.
• It supports standard Minecraft color codes (&) only. It does not support advanced hex colors (&#RRGGBB) or complex, multi-frame text animations.
• Messages (like the chat locked/cleared announcements) are currently set within the plugin code and are not configurable via a config.yml file.
