Hello my name is Rook MoonHammer. I am the proud Owner and Operator of Sleeping Forest MC Server.

We are a Towny/Survival/Economy server running off of Java 1.16.5 Spigot.

We are currently looking for staff to help grow our server! We are looking for:

- Social Media Manager (1 Spots Left)
- Forum Moderator (2 Spots Left)
- Discord Moderator (2 Spot Left)
- Senior Staff - Must Have Experience (1 Spots left)
- Staff - Must Have Experience (2 Spots Left)
- Trial-Staff (2 spots Left)
- Builder (2 Spot Left)

All positions are voluntary at the moment (Paid options will be available as we grow), but for the moment, they are great for the experience!

I would suggest updating your server to 1.17, I initially started my survival server at 1.16.5 and it was nothing but trouble. Updating to 1.17 is a much better option because you get way more support for certain plugins + you can enable Geyser/Floodgate to allow for Bedrock connections.

Most bedrock clients will more than likely update ASAP, it's not like Java edition where we just select our version so what you're saying doesn't make the most sense. If they updated to 1.18 then sure, it would be better to have the servers on the latest version and install Geyser/Floodgate since they're all good to go.
