We're building something a bit different with The Riftwarden, both in the lore and in how we run the server itself, and part of that is how we treat our staff team. We're not looking to fill a hierarchy. We're looking for people who want to help make this place good, and who'll grow into more responsibility as they earn trust, not because a rank told them to.
This also means growth here is real, not decorative. You might start out greeting new players and helping them settle in, and after a while you're running console access and shaping how the server actually operates. We want people who are hungry to learn more of the stack, not people who want a title and then coast.
Staff coordination We need someone who's good with people to help hire and train the rest of the team, run meetings, and keep everyone pulling in the same direction. This is less about commanding and more about making sure nobody's left guessing what they should be doing.
Server moderation The frontline stuff. Welcoming new players, sorting out disputes, keeping the rules enforced fairly. If you're the type who naturally de-escalates instead of escalating, we want you.
Event staff Design events, host parties, build mini-games that actually get people logging on together. If you've got ideas for how to get a community excited and rallied around something, bring them here.
Builders We need people who understand block palettes and know how to make a space feel intentional. You'd be helping design new dungeons and build out our public areas. Portfolio pieces are a big plus here since we want to see your eye for detail.

No ladder, just roles
We don't run the usual Owner over Admin over Moderator setup. Everyone who joins staff carries the same core responsibility, which is looking after the server and the people playing on it. You'll have a primary role that's your home base, but it's not a wall around what you're allowed to touch. Leads coordinate, they don't outrank. If a moderator wants to help run an event, they just do it. If an event host needs to step in on a dispute because no one else is around, they can. Your role tells people what to come to you for first, not what you're locked out of.This also means growth here is real, not decorative.
