Hello everyone, hope you are doing well!

You won't find any fancy thread design here, I'm just trying to get right to the point. Perhaps you have a business and need IT consulting from A-Z. Done. Maybe you are trying to setup an Ubuntu server with a specific systemd service but you are getting errors? We got this. Trying to start a hosting company but ol' Pterodactyl is giving you trouble? No problem. You've come to the right thread. Note: I have a thread posted in the "other services" section but that is strictly for break/fix scenarios and not focused strictly on system administration.

Experience:
I have been working in IT for almost a decade now, with a range of companies including Disney and even contracted with Microsoft as a ADFS/Exchange support engineer. Why am I here? Well, who wouldn't like to make some extra money on the side doing the things they love. I'm trying to keep this thread short, if you want a one on one conversation with me on my experience, that's fine. Just don't waste my time!

What type of system administration services do I support?

Software:
Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 +
Linux & most other server-optimized distributions such as Ubuntu Server.
FreeBSD, DragonFly BSD, and OpenBSD.

I can setup panels, VPN's, tighten security, install a software firewall, assess your networking infrastructure, monitor systems, and so much more.

Remote Services:
If applicable, I am able to provide remote support services via TeamViewer and remote SSH. For this thread, I have to change the rules a little because now we are dealing with Linux system administration. I only accept remoting into a linux-based server via SSH, with my own username in the sudoers file and a public/private key pair is generated. I will NOT accept any other form of authentication to your servers, including but not limited to root accounts, password-less accounts, and so on. If I am working with a Windows Server 2008 R2 +, TeamViewer needs to be installed and someone must be present with me.
As with Microsoft desktop support, we are NEVER allowed to take control of the clients' computer. I'm going to enforce this rule as well. I will tell you exactly what you need to do, but I will never take control.


Pricing
I work on a task basis. I'll need to receive your request first and then work out a ball-park estimate which you may accept or decline. I will do my absolute best to work around your budget and time!

Yes, this is a new account but everyone starts somewhere I suppose. I'll just have to stick with my values and I'm sure everything will be fine. Better to have no vouches than fake vouches from people who have never used my service.
