Verona Network
Who we are: Verona is a newly released Minecraft network server owned by LobsterFTW and Eewie2916 that currently features Factions and Skyblock. Our goal is to provide the community with a way to experience new and fun concepts like no other. We are going to create a supportive community and push the boundaries of an enjoyable yet competitive Minecraft experience. Lobster and I made the server with the goal to create a nice community and have fun, not necessarily to make money (however we do need to pay off current expenses xD).Our current situation: We are now one week into release and have built up a small player base. Our Discord server has over 200 members and we have a well-established forums website (here). As of now our current advertising and staff are struggling. We have little staff due to multiple complications with old staff. We have now learned that finding staff is not hard but finding good staff is.
What we are looking for in a manager: We are looking for a new manager to help us with building a staff team, advertising, staff and community management, documentation, organization, development, social media, planning events, and as we grow larger to take on the role of forums management, discord management, buycraft handling, content management, and back-end maintenance. This manager must have extensive knowledge of server development, be professional with players, form good relationships with staff, and connect with me and Lobster (a timezone close to CDT/CST is preferable). This position will also be long term. We intend to continue building up this network until we can't so we need someone who isn't going to jump the boat when the times are tough. We are willing to offer payment as our profits increase (so the work you do correlates to your pay); however, as of now, we cannot offer anything until expenses have been paid off. Lobster and I are very hands-on with the server at the moment but we hope that we can build trust with this new manager and delegate some tasks to them.
What we are looking for in staff: We are looking for mature players who have extensive knowledge of the game and a passion to help people. They must be professional with player while building connections with the community, be available at times of need, and handle situations properly, and protect the server from hackers, etc. Helper positions are open for application. If we see you excel at what you do we will consider a promotion for a moderator position. The application possesses for admin is much more extensive as we want to see all the good qualities in a moderator with additional specialties for an admin position contact me or Lobster on discord.
