AntiSpoof – Mods Detect Engine​

AntiSpoof is a server-side mod detection plugin for Paper and Folia (1.21.4+).

It doesn't trust what the client says about itself. Instead, it runs multiple independent checks and cross-references the results to figure out what's actually installed — even when the client is actively trying to hide it.

Fully async. No TPS impact. Java 21.

How detection works​

AntiSpoof runs several detection methods in parallel after a player joins:


Each detection method feeds into a scoring system. Cheat clients add 50 points, utility mods 20, visual mods 5. You set the threshold for auto-kick, commands, or staff alerts.

Anti-spoof layer​

This is what sets AntiSpoof apart from basic channel scanners.

Clients like ExploitPreventer, OpSec, or custom forks can spoof the brand string, filter outgoing channels, block translation key resolution, and intercept keybind data. AntiSpoof cross-references all detection layers and flags inconsistencies:


Everything gets a confidence score (LOW / MEDIUM / HIGH / VERY HIGH) based on how many layers show anomalies. The Discord report includes a full correlation matrix showing exactly which layers passed and which didn't.

Discord webhook reports​

When enabled, AntiSpoof sends a color-coded embed to your Discord for each player join. The report includes:


Color coding: red = illegal mods, magenta = spoofing, orange = VPN, yellow = suspicious, blue = legal modded, green = clean.

In-game GUI​

/am gui <player> opens a chest-based inspection panel with the player's head, all detected mods, channels, probe results, spoof findings, VPN status, and TCP data in one screen.

Ships with 200+ known mod signatures across categories:


Filter by category, blacklist specific mods, or switch to whitelist mode where only listed mods trigger detection.

Drop the jar into /plugins, start the server, edit config.yml. Everything has comments. Set up the translation bypass pack if you want full translation probe coverage. Optionally add your Discord webhook URL for reports.

Requires Paper 1.21.4+ or Folia. Java 21.


Important Technical Information (Read Before Purchase)

Minecraft uses a client-trusted architecture, which means the server relies heavily on the client to provide accurate data. Because of this, a highly advanced modified client that behaves exactly like a legitimate Vanilla client and sends perfectly replicated packets may be impossible to distinguish using server-side plugins alone.

AntiSpoof is designed to identify clients that leave detectable traces or handle protocol communication incorrectly.
In reality, many cheats, launchers, and modified clients expose hidden inconsistencies, additional data, or abnormal packet behavior — these are the situations our system focuses on detecting.

By purchasing this product, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Detection systems require continuous updates and adaptation as cheat developers evolve their methods. The appearance of new bypasses does not automatically indicate that the product is defective.
• Future Compatibility: The current detection methods are optimized for Minecraft versions 1.20.1 and 1.21.x. If Mojang significantly changes how the client and server communicate in future updates, certain detection methods may need to be reworked or adjusted.
• Plugin Purpose: AntiSpoof is intended to detect suspicious client modifications and protocol inconsistencies. It is not a full behavioral anti-cheat designed to handle combat, movement, or gameplay-based cheat detection.
