- Version Comparison: Improved the internal update checker to ensure accurate notifications.
- Join Notifications: Added a status message for administrators to confirm the plugin is running the latest version.
- Sorting Refinements: Cleaned up stacking logic to ensure more consistent organization across all container types.
- General Optimization: Minor code improvements for better server performance.
This update focuses on internal logic improvements to ensure item data integrity and better compatibility with other plugins.
Change Log:
Installation: Replace the old ItemSort.jar with version 1.0.2 and restart your server. No changes to the config.yml are required for this update.
- Fixed Item Disappearing Bug: The sorting engine has been completely refactored. The plugin now uses a "collect-then-clear" method. Items are safely stored in memory before any inventory slots are modified. In the event of a calculation error, items will now drop at the player's location instead of being deleted.
- Improved Item Stacking: Fixed an issue where identical items (such as Oak Logs) would remain in separate small stacks. The plugin now correctly merges these fragments into full stacks of 64.
- Virtual Menu Protection: Added a check for Inventory Holders. The plugin will now ignore virtual GUIs and menus from other plugins (DeluxeMenus, ShopGUI+, etc.), preventing accidental sorting of menu icons.
- NBT and Metadata Integrity: Updated the item identification system to use HashCode comparisons. This ensures that items with unique NBT data, such as enchanted books or custom tools, are treated as unique items and are never incorrectly merged.
- Performance Optimizations: Cleaned up the sorting tasks to reduce the impact on server performance during high-traffic periods.
