v1.1.4
- Big capture-fidelity leap: replays now record positional sound, coloured chat with rank prefixes, slime and magma-cube sizing and
mount tack, live block changes (redstone, pistons), stored book enchantments, XP-bar progress, and weather.
- Legacy realism: 1.8 to 1.12 servers now record sneak and sleep poses, and water and lava render at correct levels instead of solid
blocks.
- Faster playback: large and long replays load and scrub noticeably quicker in the browser.
- Custom domains (Pro): serve your ReplayCore panel on your own domain (white-label).
- Cleaner panel: simpler Downloads with guided server setup, clearer per-server categories and settings, first-time onboarding, and
improved docs with search.
- Retention fix: Starter and Pro now deliver the full paid window (30 / 60 days).
v1.1.3
- Per-server and network-wide visibility: choose, per server or across your network, which staff roles can see chat, commands and other
sensitive data. A viewer below the required role gets a copy with that data removed, not just hidden.
- Bigger plans: Starter now 50 GB and 30 days retention; Pro now 150 GB and 60 days.
- White-label brand colours across the dashboard.
- Rich link previews: a shared watch link unfurls into a branded, playable preview on Discord, X and more.
- Multi-POV review: follow two viewpoints on one timeline, or drop into any player's first-person view.
- Resolution-aware clip export with quality presets.
- Render fixes: the brief blank moment as a recording finalised is gone; legacy shulker facings, glowing-entity team colours, and sign
dye and glow text now render correctly.
- Security and stability hardening across the dashboard, cloud and viewer.
- Team-roles legend and permission glossary: clear at a glance who can do what.
ReplayCore v1.1.2
Our biggest fidelity and features update yet. Recorded matches now look, move and sound like the real game.
Real in-game sound
- Authentic Minecraft sound effects (bows, hits, fall damage, explosions and more) now play in replays, replacing the earlier stand-in sounds.
Truer to the game
- Mobs and animals render from their real game textures, including coat and pattern variants, villager professions and trade levels.
- More lifelike animation: deeper limb swing on players and mobs, plus idle motion for squid and ghast.
- Replays are lit by the real time of day, weather and dimension.
- First-person view now shows your own hand and held item correctly.
- Fixed the line that appeared on slim (Alex) skins.
- The glowing status effect now shows its outline.
- Further texture and lighting fixes.
Account and team security
- Email-based two-step verification for your account and your staff team.
- Sign out of every device at once.
- Tighter privacy defaults and clearer, accurate data retention information.
For developers
- A clean, documented in-process Java developer API so you can integrate your own plugins with ReplayCore. Full documentation is on the website.
Fixes and improvements
- Resolved the gaps in session warning that appeared on almost every replay.
- Performance, stability and polish across the viewer, dashboard and cloud.
Coming soon
- A free plan so anyone can record and watch replays, with paid plans unlocking more storage, modules and integrations.
ReplayCore v1.1.1
A major fidelity and quality update
Updates
- First-person view - watch through a player's own eyes, their own model hidden.
- In-world HUD - hearts, armour, hunger, hotbar and off-hand in true-to-game sprites.
- Player search - find anyone by name and jump straight to them.
- Simpler setup - a clean five-step flow, no keys to copy by hand.
- Free-camera control - optionally disable the free camera so shared replays cannot scout the map.
- Death-cam respects your settings - public links follow your replay-visibility config.
Bug Fixes
- Natural player and mob movement - true walk and run gait, mob heads that turn independently of the body.
- Correct held-item grips - sword shows its blade, trident upright, bows and crossbows held properly.
- Combat analysis and the mining trail now show on shared death-cam replays.
- The damage flash reddens only the skin and fades, instead of a full-body glow.
- Elytra flight now faces the correct direction of travel.
- The viewer control bar no longer slides off-screen on phones.
- Tighter default privacy for player inventories.
General Improvements
- Lighter recording - sending a clip or death-cam no longer causes a server tick stall.
- Ranks in replays - player ranks, prefixes and suffixes are now captured.
- Richer effects - in-game particles are now captured.
- Performance and stability refinements across the viewer.
