Fixes
New
- Leaderboards and other live text now update on their own again. No more relogging to refresh them or to bring back lines that went missing.
- Cleaned up the startup error messages some servers saw from leftover particle files.
Improvements
- Teleport actions now work across worlds. "/sch tptoholo" sends the player to the hologram's world and spot even if they are somewhere else.
- New console command "/sch cleanimages" deletes uploaded images that no hologram is using, to free up space. Run it with no players online.
- New permission "scuffedholograms.admin" gives a staff member full hologram management without making them a server operator.
- Lowered the plugin's texture usage to help avoid display glitches on some graphics drivers. (caused by other mods, scuffed holograms helps mitigate it now)
- Made image cleanup safer so a hologram that is still in use can never be removed by accident.
New Features
- Grid Snapping: The hologram tool now snaps holograms to a clean half-block grid as you move them, so lining things up is effortless. For finer placement, use the position controls in the edit menu.
- Position Nudge Controls: New +/- buttons on the X, Y and Z fields let you change a hologram's position in small steps.
- Smarter Grabbing: You can now reliably grab a smaller hologram sitting in front of a larger one; the tool selects what you're actually aiming at.
- Automatic Image Cleanup: Unused images are removed on restart.
Improvements
- Greatly reduced the texture and memory footprint of image holograms; lighter on both clients and servers.
- Alleviated black-texture issues seen on certain GPU drivers.
- Large animated GIFs are now handled more reliably.
- Removed the annoying periodic "reloading assets" notification that popped up for all players.
- Smoother, more responsive editing menus on higher pings too.

Image fixes
Compatibility
- Fixed the big one. Refreshing or adding images while players were online works perfectly now no more black box particles.
- Images you drop into the images folder show up live when you hit Refresh. No more clearing the server out to pick them up.
- Cleared up the "Texture width/height must be a multiple of 32" spam and the broken textures that came with it.
Quest Chain
- Interact holograms don't get wiped by spawn protection and region mods anymore (OrbisGuard and the like). They stay put in protected and spawn areas.
- Works with Endless Quests and Rewards now, on top of TaleQuests.
- You can mix quests from different quest mods in the same chain.

OTHER
- New "Quest Chain" trigger mode - hand out quests in order from a hologram (works with TaleQuests and EndlessQuests - more integrations later)
- Added a prestige leaderboard (updated "New Leaderboard")
- Holograms show up right away when you walk into range now - before, some would take a second or two to appear and it felt random
- Uploading or editing an image no longer makes your other holograms (or other mods' entities) reset and glitch out
- Loading an image from a URL is smoother, it says "Staged" the second you hit Load and grabs it in the background, no lag spike
- Added a "Send Chat" trigger that messages only the player who interacted, plus a /sch sendchat <player> <message> command
- Renamed the "Greet" trigger to "Broadcast" since it sends to the whole server, and trimmed the trigger template list
- The hidden interact zone is friendly now so mobs and mob plugins leave it alone

If any images still flicker, simply readd make a new hologram and load the same image again
New: Entity Renderer
- Text and image holograms now have a "Renderer" toggle (Particle / Entity) in Settings
- Entity mode uses zero particles. never flicker even for high ping, no particle limit.
- Best for high-traffic areas with lots of holograms and players
- Particle mode remains the default, sharpest and highest quality.
New: Yaw & Pitch Controls
- Manual yaw and pitch text fields in the Billboard section (all hologram types)
- Enter exact degree values to use beside the 15-degree hologram tool increments

- Image Scale changed from slider to text field + Save (mimi rejoice)
- View Distance capped at 100 (higher values could cause images to not render)
- Refresh button now also picks up images dropped manually into the images folder

Hologram List & Organization
- Action Modes: new dropdown to choose how your actions fire:
- Trigger All: each action rolls its chance independently, multiple can fire (the classic behavior)
- Roll (Roulette): one action is randomly picked based on relative weight. Higher weight = more likely
- Checklist (Carousel): actions fire one at a time in order per player, cycling back to the start. Progress persists through reconnects and restarts
- Per-action delay: set a delay in seconds for each action. Run /tp first, then give an item 20 seconds later, all from the same hologram
- Self cooldown + Global cooldown: "Self" locks only this hologram, "Global" locks all holograms. Both persist through reconnects
- Interaction Box Padding: adjust the interact hitbox size with X/Y/Z padding when using Interact (click) mode
- Triggers page is now bigger with larger, more readable text throughout
- 10 action slots (up from 6)
- Folders: select multiple holograms with checkboxes, click "New Folder" to group them together. Have folders like "Spawn" or "Tutorial Area" to manage your holograms more easily.
- Back button now properly returns you to the page and folder you came from, no more getting sent back to page 1
UI Improvements
- All +/- buttons replaced with direct text input fields + Save. Type the exact value you want instead of clicking 50 times
- Scale options allow for more flexibility now
- Update Interval moved to the bottom of settings with an explanation of what it does
- Placeholder info: "?" button on the line editor shows all available placeholders
- Improved interact hitbox sizing to better fit the hologram shape, with padding configurability

- Full PlaceholderAPI support for any custom placeholders from other mods
- Fixed combattext_settings.json being saved outside the ScuffedHolograms folder. Existing settings are automatically migrated
- Improved image quality to mirror the exact resolution of the image.
