First things first, to even survive on the moon, you need 2 things. The first being an astronaut helmet, which lets you breathe in the airless atmosphere of the moon. And the second is an oxygen tank you hook up to the helmet. Each second you spend on the moon, both of these items lose 1 durability, so plan your travel correctly.
Another accessory you can purchase in the moon menu is 'Moon Boots'. The gravity on the moon is really low, and that makes it harder to walk as you just jump. To counter this, the invention of Moon Boots was created to help you move faster on the moon.
Finally, you need a rocket to travel to the moon. These things aren't cheap. Spacex hasn't been created in this world, so you'll have to rely on expensive rockets.
You must be wondering, why even travel to the moon? Simply put, you'll become a lot richer and more powerful if your adventure on the moon succeeds. Not only is there a ton of ores under the surface, the lower you go, the more blocks of ores you will find. Not to mention the special Moon KOTH and Moon Dungeons that exist, each with high level and rare items. But beware, there are also a lot of strong mobs, so don't come unprepared.
