ArsenicPvP (Squads & Kits)

I'm proud to be speaking about a project that has been in the works since 2017. The owner, ignDew has been operating, and developing on-and-off for a few years, and has finally decided to revive the project! The two main game modes, will consist of Kits and HCF. During the release in 2017, there was a a consistent player base, and began to peak around 250+ players as early as Map 3. Of course, we are still in the "re-development" phase and have some things to check off before we get going, and finding the perfect staff team is where we have reached!

More information will be released about the server as we begin to enter our pre-release phase, but we do encourage you to ask questions
and we will do our best to answer without spoiling too much!!

What are we looking for?

As applications are just beginning to open, we are looking for a functioning and hard working staff team to make this journey come back to life! If you believe that you would be a beneficial asset to the team, then we encourage you to join the discord and set up and application! We have a couple positions that we are currently accepting for, and if you feel like you may fit one of them, or something else then feel free to apply for it as well! We are open to all of your applications, and will thoroughly read all of them!
  1. Management - Requires the ability to encourage teammates, excellent communication, has the drive to create and set goals for themselves & others, and someone who can bring out the best in people.
  2. Administrator - Requires leadership qualities, the ability to delegate tasks, strong communication skills & the ability to show integrity and empathy.
  3. Moderator - Requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking, thinks ethically versus emotionally and has strong interpersonal skills.
  4. Developers (Currently voluntary, and un-paid. This will change.)

Remember that applications aren't always the number one thing we look for in a possible recruit. We look at the way you present yourself, the way you can formulate your sentences, the way you describe yourself (application questions) etc. You'll go through two phases which include:
Application PhaseInterview Phase
The first process of applying for the team will be through our discord which can be found: here - or at the bottom of the thread. From there, apply in the #create-ticket section. Select "application support" and continue from there! You'll be asked several questions, answer as honest and as best that you can.

Please be advised - reaching out to a staff member to check the status of your application, or anything along the lines of "have you checked it?" will result in an immediate denial.

We are all human. Making grammatical errors aren't the worst thing, just do your best.
Applicants who we deem have potential of making a good attribution to our team will be notified directly on Discord, so please make sure that you are checking for updates yourself in your ticket thread. There is not an exact amount of time it will take to get to your application, but once we do, we will give you an application status update.

Depending on what we'd like to do with you & your application, may lead you into a virtual interview in one of our voice channels, where we may continue to ask application questions, or may even just want to get to know you better. Make sure you attend to your scheduled time slot - and if you cannot make it then please tell us in advance.
Get ahold of us!

You may click the discord button above to take you to our server, or you may directly message me on Discord @ Aidan#7318
(This way make take longer, and will still be directed to make an application through the applications bot.)

Sincerely, your community manager, Nebzei.

I'm gonna say this, but this is my opinion. HCF is dying, 2017 was like the good old days when VeltPvP and Arcane were basically the 2 only good pvp servers. This is 2022 where ViperMC, CavePvP, and SagePvP, is the "go to" place for HCF. Though it be nice to see some of the good old classic HCF return. I just don't see it happening due to the fact that most old players quit, and now all we got is new gen players who play bedwars or manhunts.

We greatly appreciate your feedback!

I can personally recognize the other very successful HCF servers, but that doesn't discourage us from trying to work towards our goals of being one of those "go-to" servers!

Contact me if management work is paid. @ valued#2908

Applications can be created on the discord, strongly built portfolio's and managerial experiences are definitely encouraged when applying for a position you wish to be paid for.

If you can't afford a server logo, that says a lot about your server.

Devouch, Server is using a templated logo + is 1.7/1.8 HCF so you know it'll have a toxic community.

I feel like basing the inability for something to be successful based on a logo, and consisting of a game mode that you're particularly not a fan of, seems pretty out of pocket. The part the I particularly don't enjoy is you saying, "If you can't afford a server logo, that says a lot about your server.". I feel like the standard you've set that if someone can't afford something removes their credibility to become something good is poor itself. Logo's can always be changed, but money doesn't grow on trees.

Here are a couple "actual companies" with nearly the exact same logo, but still maintain the same credibility as the other.

It's called cutting corners on things that shouldn't be cot on.

And look I'm not going to bash you as a person as you're not a bad guy but the 1.7.x community is awful and HCF is also dogshit but that's not causing my reason to bash, I just noticed a templated logo and figured to call it out. HCF is not something you can do easy.

And besides that server you work for will prob get 70 on SOTW then 20 the next day, then a ETB will happen and it'll rebrand and start over.

Overall HCF servers that are brand new without a player base are going to fail and die.

DNDW.

I totally respect your opinion, as I've also watch HCF slowly go down in player engagement and activity, but that shouldn't be the reason that you "bash" someones dream if you want to call it that by opening up their own server. Sometimes it goes further to just say "good luck".

Regardless of the player count on SOTW, or the players the next day, it's all about the experience of calling it your server. 70 people in a room is not a lot, but they're there for your release, and what you've been working on. I'd feel a sense of accomplishment no matter the player base.

Cheers.

Just gonna say this, each community is different. HCF community is toxic and thats just how it is. I staffed for 1.7 and 1.18 servers, each server has their own playstyle, just cause you don’t like one doesn’t mean it’s horrible because that is your own personal opinion. About the logo I do find it weird and not cool that you borrowed a logo. If you are unable to afford one, you could always make one yourself or ask someone to make one for you for free. Back to the community issue. Just because you hate a community doesn’t mean its bad. Keep your opinions to yourself.
