I talked to Mick in SB and he said I could make this post, even though it would most likely not be accepted.

As you most likely know, Mick and MCM recently bought out the #2 MC Marketplace named MCSell.. A lot of members there were only there because you could buy and sell alts there (I build a whole business off it, and the sale really hurt) I think we should add back the sale of minecraft accounts that aren't OG.

Now I know there was reasons for the removal, such as they may be taken back or removed by the original owner and a false scam report is opened, or they could lie and say it was taken back while they took it back. I myself understand these concerns as I too have been scammed by many alt sellers (Super Alts and more).

Many of these concerns have a fairly simple fix, and I intend to give my best ideas for this. Number 1, non-full access'es (NFA) are known for their short term lifespan, the best fix to stopping issues with this is: The user who sells the Alt may or may not provide a warranty, if they do not provide a warranty then they have no obligations to refund accounts or money, and a scam report can NOT be made. While if the user has a warranty then they must refund the alts or replace them as long as it's within the warranty. Semi-full access and full access both can be "disputed" and the account taken away, Minecraft Market should simply state that there is no protection unless the user can prove that the account did not work on purchase, and if the seller can prove it did (IE, screenshot or video before sending of it working) then the scam report would be voided and so would any Minecraft Market related warranty. All scam reports for FA and SFA must be made within an hour of the purchase. Generally the rules for the replacements and refunds of alts will be made by the seller and made public, and only of they don't follow those rules is a scam report a viable option.

Minecraft alts has made a lot of my friends thousands of dollars, and provides many people with accounts. This is a huge market in minecraft and MCM is really missing out on it. I understand there are complications but it was a major selling point of MCSell and if you really want the bulk of the people to come over, you should re-allow the selling of alts.

If you have any other concerns that I did not cover, please make a reply and I will try and come up with a solution.
I left MCM to MCSell because of the fact that MCSell allowed me to buy and sell alts, I use alts to stress test servers, and my own fun sometimes. They can also be used for good, like my staff members who are a respected admin+ and have full permissions and would like to play, or they are used by people to test their staff. Anything can be used for good and bad, and everything can be scammed or legit. I personally hope you add back the selling of alts as it is a major selling point. I also talked to Ex-Admin BadNode and anyone concerned Mojang may threaten MC-Market for selling alts can be releaved. After talking to BadNode he told me they never once were asked by mojang to remove them.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you take this into consideration,
Much support, Alontrle.

Edit:
Thanks to Hefty for the idea, we could limit it to supreme users, or really high reputation users.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

You can sell on Twitter for a much higher price than the price people were selling through mcsell.

I dont think this would be a TERRIBLE idea, coming from MCs myself there were many unreliable alt distributors, I think possibly MC-M should limit the Alt seller to a very elite group of individuals who are trustworthy and provide quality products (If this was re-introduced ) Aswell, there should be 0 protection for the NFA market as its individuals who SHOULD be trusted and worthy to sell there product on this site

Mc-M is the top site, I think it shouldnt turn into MCs where most of it is ALT sellers, but its not a terrible thing to include with some quality control et cetera

All twitter sellers I found were scammers. But if there were working ones then awesome for them. I only knew 2-3 though so I don't know much about it and you may be right.[DOUBLEPOST=1497406295][/DOUBLEPOST]

I didn't want to say no protection, but I was thinking that, as a scammer could rip a lot of people off and have no chance of being banned, so minimal protection I think is needed, thanks for the input!

You can sell via Twitter for .30-.50 and MCS sellers would sell at about .02

If you're so invested in this shop, you can find suppliers through skype.

I think this is a good idea and agree that it does hurt many people. As an alt user myself I find them very helpful but also unfair because there is no good way to get a cheap one. I would like to see this so those who cannot get one to help them out or let friends play with them, can. Thank you for bringing this up Alontrle. Good luck!

Not a dedicated area for NFA/SFAS/FA but possibly allow them

I agree with this, mick "deleted" mcsell for the sake of making MC-M more popular, but with it gone, the lack of NFA selling is just making people go to mcmart and other sites.

Only question;

How would you plan on accepting payments through PayPal? Most auto buys guarantee a limitation on your PayPal within a month. And manually accepting payments is a pain in the ass.

That's up to the seller, not on MCM, and is something that alt sellers already deal with. Most alt sellers will already be established, and know about this. This would happen here or elsewhere

Yeah, I know. But it seems quite useless to add a new subforum just for alt shops, when 90% of them will go out of business due to PayPal limiting their account. I mean, yeah some alt shops are smart and make a new PayPal every week, transfer the money, and do that cycle; but seems quite useless to me.

It's a whole industry, I have friends who make thousands of dollars every month it's already something they go through. I never said make a sub forum, just don't ban the sales of them like it is now.

We don't allow the sale of items you don't own.

Why should we allow people to sell access to other peoples minecraft accounts which they don't own? The passwords always get reset and then scam reports made and it's all a huge mess.

As I've stated many times: I'd rather not have every other thread be titled "xALTS - CHEAPEST - MOST REPUTABLE - 2 CENTS EACH"

The first part I understand but I covered the second part if you read the biggest paragraph there haha. It explains what MCM could do to solve that.
