I talked to Mick in SB and he said I could make this post, even though it would most likely not be accepted.

As you most likely know, Mick and MCM recently bought out the #2 MC Marketplace named MCSell.. A lot of members there were only there because you could buy and sell alts there (I build a whole business off it, and the sale really hurt) I think we should add back the sale of minecraft accounts that aren't OG.

Now I know there was reasons for the removal, such as they may be taken back or removed by the original owner and a false scam report is opened, or they could lie and say it was taken back while they took it back. I myself understand these concerns as I too have been scammed by many alt sellers (Super Alts and more).

Many of these concerns have a fairly simple fix, and I intend to give my best ideas for this. Number 1, non-full access'es (NFA) are known for their short term lifespan, the best fix to stopping issues with this is: The user who sells the Alt may or may not provide a warranty, if they do not provide a warranty then they have no obligations to refund accounts or money, and a scam report can NOT be made. While if the user has a warranty then they must refund the alts or replace them as long as it's within the warranty. Semi-full access and full access both can be "disputed" and the account taken away, Minecraft Market should simply state that there is no protection unless the user can prove that the account did not work on purchase, and if the seller can prove it did (IE, screenshot or video before sending of it working) then the scam report would be voided and so would any Minecraft Market related warranty. All scam reports for FA and SFA must be made within an hour of the purchase. Generally the rules for the replacements and refunds of alts will be made by the seller and made public, and only of they don't follow those rules is a scam report a viable option.

Minecraft alts has made a lot of my friends thousands of dollars, and provides many people with accounts. This is a huge market in minecraft and MCM is really missing out on it. I understand there are complications but it was a major selling point of MCSell and if you really want the bulk of the people to come over, you should re-allow the selling of alts.

If you have any other concerns that I did not cover, please make a reply and I will try and come up with a solution.
I left MCM to MCSell because of the fact that MCSell allowed me to buy and sell alts, I use alts to stress test servers, and my own fun sometimes. They can also be used for good, like my staff members who are a respected admin+ and have full permissions and would like to play, or they are used by people to test their staff. Anything can be used for good and bad, and everything can be scammed or legit. I personally hope you add back the selling of alts as it is a major selling point. I also talked to Ex-Admin BadNode and anyone concerned Mojang may threaten MC-Market for selling alts can be releaved. After talking to BadNode he told me they never once were asked by mojang to remove them.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you take this into consideration,
Much support, Alontrle.

Edit:
Thanks to Hefty for the idea, we could limit it to supreme users, or really high reputation users.

If you really want to sell alts, do it off-site.
Make a website which automates the whole process, and spread through Twitter or whatever.

Selling alts doesn't seem to include much manual work, so it could easily be automated and put into a nice website.

Selly.gg but most people used MCSell and twitter works but it's hard because 99% of the time they scam you and wont reply

This will simply give non warranty sellers the upper hand in the market as users will want to afford bulk rather than long term quality as they often just resell for profits.

All scam reports for FA and SFA must be made within an hour of the purchase. Generally the rules for the replacements and refunds of alts will be made by the seller and made public, and only of they don't follow those rules is a scam report a viable option.
This hour for scam report contradicts the point of a warranty that exceeds the 1 hour. Overall this idea is just too complicated, and it'll bring lots of illegal crackers and hackers basically to the market. MCSell had this funny rule where they alllowed these accounts to be sold but no discussion of cracking lol and users were freely talking in pms or skype etc.

We don't need little 13 year olds coming on this website selling stolen accounts. If you wanna steal things and sell it be my guest, just not on MCM.
I think hes asking AmericanPing why he bumped this dead thread, I just don't know why he quoted your post too.

Why The gravedig?
Because it will be. Im not going to explain myself for the 5th time to some new rando. You are new to the site and have 0 idea what it was like back when it was allowed to sell NFA's. Have you been to the scam reports section? No? Now imagine that that's 3 full pages long, instead of 1. 2 of those 3 pages would be NFA scam reports, because there's literally no way to not get scammed. The only thing you can do is pretty much the minecraft account association as well as trusting they won't pull it back. That's managable for OG's, semis and rank accounts. It is NOT managable for FA, NFA and alt accounts. Not to mention those are almost all just straight up stolen.

There is 0 advantage to allowing NFA accounts to be sold on here, besides giving the satisfaction to a bunch of randos and a tiny handful of legit sellers that they can sell bullshit cracked accounts for a dollar apiece. and that is not a good reason to drown the forums in 3x the toxic shit as they have now.

I think by gravedig he meant why you guys bumped a month old thread
oh, I must've replied to someone who necro'd it.
Wouldn't be the first time, I see a stupid suggestion pop up again I think maybe someone somewhere didn't quite get the message.
Anyway I feel like suggestions are the one thing you're allowed to necro, because they should be denied or accepted.

I believe this rule sums it up pretty well:
5.4 Do not offer or sell anything you do not own or have the right to redistribute.

At the end of the day NFA accounts are all cracked and stolen, so you do not have the right to redistribute them. They also make it much more likely that you will get scammed than in any other regular deal, like Ivain has stated. Non-OG accounts will never be allowed to be sold on MCM.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
