Hi there. I am new here.

I am setting up my server, and I just switched from Essentials and Pex to CMI and LuckPerms.

What I am trying to do is have some donation ranks that will be through the buy store (tebex/buycraft). I would like to have a linear rank up system in game ranking up after meeting certain prerequisites.

Basically, the goal is the lineal system would all have the same permissions as the donation system for top rank - for people that can't donate. For the lineal system in game there would be other things such as crate keys as rewards so that people that donate also have fun ranking up in game too.

Approximately how much does it cost for someone to assist me with a task for configuring ranks and permissions?

As far as I understand from what you wrote you would like to have two rank system at the same time in your server:
- A) Rank system for donation (tebex/buycraft) where people will donate and get curtain perks, permissions, etc..
- B) Rank system that will work despite the donate system and for all ranks at the same time (you don't have to donate in order to use it)

If I got the idea right, then you will need both CMI and LuckPerms (PEX could work as well). It is not that hard to be done. You will need to use LuckPerms and Tebex plugin in order to set the different ranks and permissions. When you do so, you will need the CMI plugin which allows you to create certain ranks in-game and to set their permissions as well and implement it in LuckPerms.

If I have to be honest, you don't really have to pay to anyone to do this for you, I'm pretty sure you will be able to do it yourself, a few tries, some help from here and there, a few videos watched and you will do it yourself for a few hours.

Lucky perms can convert all of your data for you.

Hi thanks you guys! yea, Luck Perms did convert things. I had changed from Essentials to CMI as well so I had to remove some of the essential perms and add in the CMI ones. There were still some there....*shrugs* I don't have players yet as I am still setting things up so at least that is good.

Yea Yuliansky I am sure I can figure it out. I understand mostly how it would work, there are just a few things confusing me but I will keep searching for examples and try it out.
