Dear MC-Market,

Hello my name is Eric, my partner and I are working on a new server and we're ready to go ahead and start hiring. The Network as of now consists of Factions, Kit-PVP, and Skyblock is in the works as i write this thanks to our wonderful developer. We strive to make the Server as unique as possible and we won't stop until we do. Any of the server donations will be used to compensate some staff members and to improve our hardware. A little more about myself, I'm 18 from the US, I can fully fund the Network myself. I'm in College but i always find the time to work on the server. If you'd like to know more about myself or the server, don't hesitate to contact me.

I'm a person who loves Minecraft and has played it consistently for most of my life. I only have a few hobbies, and they are Minecraft, coding, and playing the piano. Although most of my hobbies fade in and out, Minecraft has always remained as a strong one. I am also very hard-working and persistent. If there's something you ask me to do, I will continually work at whatever the request is until I succeed in completing the goal.

Although I have not been active on the server before now, I will be able to be online for 2+ hours every day.

Skills:
Over my many years of experience of Minecraft, I believe that I have picked up much knowledge that can be applied here on this server as staff. Of all of these skills though, I believe that the most important one that I have learned was Java, and the ability to make and tamper with plugins. As I say in the question below, I used to run a server of my own with a friend, but we were never able to get the server up and running. Though many people might think of this whole experience as a waste of time, I don't because I realize how much I learned from this failure. I would also like to note that the server was shut down not because of problems with the server, but because of participation difficulties with the staff and a lack of funds to keep the server running. During this time, the server still stood firm though, thanks to the persistence of myself and my friend. I also have much experience in playing the game of Minecraft. I have not played for as long as some people, but I have played long enough that I have a strong knowledge of almost everything in the game, which could help players if they are having problems with something that they are confused about.

Past Experience:
As I say in nearly every paragraph, I used to run a server alone with a friend of mine. Although we did have staff members, they didn't do anything. We were still forced to run the server by ourselves. I am also currently a Half-Mod on the server of NemeGaming. However, I would easily be willing to quit this job to come here and help manage the creative server (on its release of course). Lastly, I used to be a Developer on a server called KingsCraft, before the owner shut it down before it's release. Like my own server, KingsCraft was closed down because of the owner losing the energy required to help run the server and because of staff assistance issues (not me though!). Although I may not have as much experience as a lot of other people, I still think that my knowledge would be a great asset to this server.

Why would you like to work at Explit?:
I actually used to run a server of my own. Though many people might think of this whole experience as a waste of time, I don't because I realize how much I learned from this failure. I would also like to note that the server was shut down not because of problems with the server, but because of participation difficulties with the staff and a lack of funds to keep the server running. During this time, the server ran very well, with no known bugs complained about. My point in describing my old server is to show you that I am capable of managing the basics of a server. I love Minecraft, but I still would have given up on it ages ago if it wasn't for the servers. Although I am new, I still believe that I can be a great asset to the team. While this server already looks very well built and the community is kind and friendly, I still think that there is always room for improvement and that there are always many things that we could do to improve the experiences of new players on Explit. I love helping out new players as well as old ones, and it disappoints me to see a new player leaving just as much as it is for me to see an old player part with us. Another thing that I will bring to the team will be helpfulness for the staff. Many players think that to be staff on a Minecraft server; they just have to help out players with the problems they're having. I disagree. One of the most important responsibilities of staff is to help out other staff members. Even if you are the most liked staff among the people for helping them with their problems, you may be the worst liked staff in the eyes of other staff members. The reasoning for this would be you not helping them out with fixing bugs, planning events, etc. I believe that I could bring new events or games to the players on the creative server to spice up the gameplay and make it more enjoyable overall. I have many ideas for events on the creative server, some examples being a fun maze that people would race through for a small prize, elytra flying competition, and a build contest. However, these are just a few of my ideas for expansions of the creative server. I also believe that I will be able to add these features without very much help since I am accomplished in Java programming, and since I have a lot of experience running a Minecraft server. I believe that my addition to the staff team would not cause much more work to do because I feel that I can manage most of my ideas for events and games for the creative server with my extensive plugin knowledge. Also, as said earlier, my old server had a custom type of gameplay, which I think that I could introduce as a new server. This gameplay was based on companies, where each company had a different perk that made it special. If you want to talk to me more about this type of custom gameplay then just speak to me outside of this application. Also, I would obviously help out in setting up the creative server since it isn't up yet.

- Briefly describe yourself: Possibly the most chilled out guy you'll ever meet, if you have a great sense of humour you will love me im really popular and seriously funny thats if you're from England. I have lots of time to spend(exams finish) exams so can play all the time and i think you will enjoy getting to know me. I've been playing minecraft for a long time now seen it change and met all sorts of people that play it. I have a few hobbies - Gaming and sleeping.

- Daily #HRS Dedicated to server?: 2 minimum on weekdays like 5 weekends

- Skills: Im pro at moderating a server, if anyone has a problem im not the sort of person that just ignores the person that needs help because im too lazy or cannot be bothered i will always message them and try to help them in some way or another. Im also good at screensharing self taught ofcourse like almost everything i do. Thats another one of my skills im a very good learner if you want to sit down and teach me something i will suck it all up and soon enough become good at it. I also know how to use most plugins and have run a few servers of my own so know how to edit things.
- Past Experience: Admin on roguehcf - max players (200) on sotw and a solid 50 all times of the day however that server closed down a while back. I have also owned a few servers of my own which havent done to bad and this is where i mostly gained all of my experience with moderating and creating servers. Also been mod and admin on countless other servers but none are as big as these.

- Why would you like to work at Explit?: I would like to work at explit because i am running out of things to do on minecraft, ive played almost every game mode and the increase in cheaters and toxic people are beginning to dull the game out for me. However i believe moderating a server will help me decrease these things and in succession make explit a great server. I would like to mainly moderate factions and kitpvp because they have always been a passion of mine which i have been playing for years and i would like to bring that passion back for everyone else by eliminating cheaters and making this server as great as possible!
