Bringing dopamine back to Minecraft combat.
Tested and Optimized for KitPvP, Factions, Survival, and Lifesteal (1.16+ & Folia)
Hey everyone!
I was playing on a few popular Lifesteal and Factions networks recently, and I noticed a huge problem. You would grind for hours, finally win a massive PvP fight, and... nothing happens. Just the boring vanilla poof sound. It felt incredibly unrewarding.
If you’ve ever played a game like Valorant or Call of Duty, you know how insanely satisfying it is to hear a custom sound effect when you secure an elimination. That tiny audio cue triggers a massive dopamine hit that keeps you hooked.
As server owners' #1 goal is player retention. If combat feels boring, players leave. If they leave, they don't buy store ranks. So, I spent the last few weeks building KillSounds to bring that exact satisfying, adrenaline-pumping feeling to Minecraft PvP.
- The Ultimate VIP Perk: You can lock the craziest sounds (like the Wither Spawn or Lightning Strike) behind your server's Donator ranks using simple permissions. This is a massive incentive for players to buy ranks!
- 16+ Hand-picked Audio Cues: Ranging from heavy Anvil Drops and terrifying Dragon Roars, to classic Level Up and Totem sounds.
- Cross-Server Syncing: Built-in MySQL support so players keep their favorite unlocked sounds across all your BungeeCord/Velocity sub-servers.
- Interactive Player GUI: A completely custom, lag-free GUI menu (
/killsounds) so players can choose and preview their active kill effect. - Total Audio Control: Does the whole server hear it? Just the killer? You have total control over the pitch, volume, and playback radius.
If you want to completely change how combat feels on your server, you can check it out below!
P.S. If you guys have any cool ideas for new sounds I should add in the next update, let me know in the replies or join our Discord! I'm actively taking suggestions.
