Hi,
As you may, or not, know the majority of hosts that offer Web Hosting are resold from massive resellers that oversell their nodes a lot. Because of that, my websites were super slow, so I bought a small cPanel license, a VPS, and the website went x50 more fast.

I'm looking to expand it, so other people can buy, or even resell it. If you're looking for web hosting, or you're a Hosting Company Owner, would you be interested in me moving it on a good dedicated server, and selling it by cheap? Or is this market over saturated?

(Your reply would help a lot)

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

What? The reason why it's slower on shared servers it because it's well, a shared server. Obviously a VPS or dedi will be much faster. Furthermore, I have no clue what you're saying. What do you mean you selling a dedi? Wouldn't you just be creating a hosting company?

Considering you're a sysadmin, I'm thoroughly confused at your point here.

If you are offering hosting, I would check out "other hosting" on MCMarket instead of requesting. Requesting is more for people who are seeking a service.

I was talking about setting up whmcs, and, like you said, start a hosting company, but promoting that I rent the servers and have the licenses, and it would go faster.

As you might know, it costs a lot of money setting up a company, so I would do this if people is interested (i didn't really know if this was the appopiate section to post this)

A lot of hosting company's resell from somebody who owns servers, or they own their own servers. There is no need for another one of those companies in hosting, so no, I don't think you should. The market is extremely saturated, and you'll have a hard time unless you have large investors.

I wouldn't say very many hosts at all "oversell" web hosting, web hosting is not the same as VPS or Minecraft Hosting. Overall, it takes very little computational power even with a lot of accounts, and it's even better if you use lightspeed on it.

Your "slow speeds" with your host were likely from you just not buying a large enough plan. Most of the "big-box" hosts are just going to limit you severely.

We have our own license and server for our web hosting, and I'm sure many other hosts on here do as well. We haven't experienced any issues with our clients having slow-downs on accounts.

That's what I thought, but I didn't really know it, so that's what I asked for the opinion. Thanks for the answer :D
