Hey friends, I'm making this suggestion as I've been waiting for ages to get my "Support ticket answered and resource accepted" accepted/answered. I think MCM should start looking into hiring more staff to accommodate the overflow of users. Please leave a comment to say if you agree or disagree.

Good Points:
Here is what we need to do in order to fix the staff team up.

Demote the following users:

Mick - He is the owner of slabcraft and only has a chat mod rank cause he was the ex-owner so we need to get rid of him as he doesn't do anything.

Jack - I never see him or interact with the community in any way. He just sits there with his mod rank.

Errota - He is to busy with his hosting company and doesn't care about MCM. Like if you go to his profile every recent post is about his MC Hosting company. Advertisers don't equal moderators.

M6Gaming - He is a great scam resolver, but a bad mod. I think he should just stick to scam reports and loose the mod rank.

Promote the following users:

morganjp - He definitely deserves mod and is super active. He's got a great personality and very few people dislike him.

Deep - He deserves chat mod and will work his way to mod.

Make these changes and everyone is happy except for those who get demoted.
Time to go full out essay mode =

There are two sides to this and two types of valid reasons that support either of the outcomes of this suggestion. Let's begin with the "yes, I support more staff needing to be added." Okay, we may need more staff, but not for all positions. M6Gaming is doing extremely well as a scam resolver, but I don't think he exactly needs both the roles of SR and Mod. He does create a lot of time for both, so we could let it be for now. Then, we have Errota. I have seen little to no activity from Errota for a long time now and think that it is definitely necessary that MCM enforces that their staff stay active. This may also just be me, but yeah. The chat moderators do quite the job of keeping both the chat and the forum generally great - but I don't see a lot of them, unfortunately. We don't need that many staff. We need probably two more staff members. One resource moderator and one moderator. We might want to "lose" a moderator, and promote someone else in their stead as well.

Now, the against side. We have a great staff team who "arguably" do their jobs. Especially M6, <3. I have to say, I've seen many of our staff doing their job. A lot more then the previous staff teams. It seems as if they work together rather smoothly. Should there really be change when it isn't necessary? Remember the drama that resulted from that? Gladly, BeBosny is our new owner and he changed stuff back (all except the name :)) and will definitely make the right decision on this suggestion.

I hate to break it to ya, the "more staff" case seems a bit stronger for me... Let us see what other people have to say...

Thanks for your time

I thought MCM was struggling economically, in my opinion this isn't the right time to hire new people.

Lets get back into business before we worry about speeding up processes.

I can confirm that for Jack, 2 of those blurred images are warning points to me lol.
However to focus on just his moderation, He did respond to me having a go at him and then when i asked to bring Ajdin into he did so immediately. The outcome did not go in my favor but they are both certainly active.

As for the other staff ive only dealt with tjrgg M6Gaming and they do their jobs, Coco and Errota ive spoken to once or twice and dont see them around much, but that doesn't mean they dont do anything. We dont actually know if they do or dont.

The question staff need to ask themselves is do they really think that they have the time to moderate these forums, The forums always come second to real life and there is nothing wrong with that. however if you think that you can not spend an adequate amount of time doing your extra responsibilities then maybe you should consider stepping down to let someone with more free time step up to take on the extra load. There is no shame is stepping down and i hope the extra power is not the reason you stay up there.

To half contradict what i said about real life coming first, and this is just my personal views. I am currently studying 2 advanced diploma's full time squashed into a 6 month time frame (i believe the Americans call them bachelors) I run my minecraft server, do some on the side work for cash in hand, pay my bills, buy food etc etc and i still have more than enough time to come on and see what is new. It pains me to see that people these days say they have 'exams' or 'school' and we are to assume that it means they can only focus on that one thing. Most will get a rude awakening if they think life gets any easier, School is nothing to be honest lol

He's a good okay mod, but maybe he just needs to be more active in the non-mod-related community side of things.
I understand where you are coming from.
I used to be extremely active on MC-Market. I had the original Minecraft sniping service, I sold OGs, I used to accept commissions for web development, I used to sell lists and templates. I still do some work (web dev, programming for data, sysadmin, etc) on the side, but lately, I haven't really had any time at all.
I became so inactive back in November that I retired and left MC-Market, until I came back in February and was invited to rejoin the staff team.
Now that I'm not actively offering any services or buying anything from MC-Market, nor have I played Minecraft seriously in about 2 years, it seems there's not much public content for me to "participate" in anymore, besides responding to these kinds of threads.
Now the title of the thread concerns "active staff" - which makes things tricky. Active in the sense that they are actively doing their moderator duties, or active meaning participating and interacting with the community outside of answering PMs, support requests, and reports? If you would like to have staff members be required to have a certain level of interaction with the community, that will eat up much of the time they spend answering reports, requests, and questions, therefor leading to "less active" staff, since they won't be able to do their real jobs to the fullest.
I advise that if you believe staff should be required to interact with the community, along with the duties they are already doing, you create a new suggestion thread outlining specifically what you think they should be doing.

I've read so many staff related suggestions, "More Scam Resolvers", "More Resource Moderators", more this more that. It's as if every time this is posted you are suggesting "Oh we need more staff, maybe me since I suggested it".

Like seriously? To me it's pretty much you guys suggest this in hopes of getting yourself on the staff team. The current staff layout is fine mostly, yes there are a few things that may need to be touched upon however for the most part it's fine the way it is.

I like the amounts of agrees due to the fact everyone wants staff, haha.
If you look at the sidebar, most of the time under 'Staff online' there are one or two online at once.

I didn't agree nor disagree. Mainly because although "more staff" or "staff more active" is something positive, I feel that it is not needed since they're already very active.

Could you talk more about that? What do you propose should be "revived"?
- Activity needs to be boosted
- M6 needs to stick to scam reports
- And BeBos needs to filter out some inactive staff, possibly switching up their roles.
- More Resource Mods
