Making a thread.
When you make a thread, say for selling, you should probably make sure you use the tags box right under your message. When you add tags, not only does your page become more visible (say to Google, who actively looks for tags on forums like MCM), you can make people who want to search for threads a whole lot easier.
Searching through tags.
You can search through tags here: https://www.mc-market.org/tags/.
I'd suggest making your tags descriptive, not just "cheap", but descriptive of the category you're posting in. For a Discord-related tool, you could do ("Discord", "Windows Programs", "X tool name", etc.). When someone comes along, they'll be able to find related threads pretty quickly.
Additionally, every tag has its own page (see, for example, https://www.mc-market.org/tags/potato/).
Currently, this is a good substitute for thread prefixes, but not perfect, in terms of searching.
Okay thanks bye, happy searching.
