Gavel — All-in-One Punishment, Moderation & Server Security
Gavel is a complete, standalone moderation and server-security plugin for Paper and Purpur servers (Minecraft 1.21+). It combines fast, reliable punishments (ban, mute, warn, kick, IP-ban) with premium one-click inventory GUIs, an anti-cheat alarm, secret spectator tools, a staff watchlist, and one-click migration from other punishment plugins — all with zero database setup.

Punishments

• /ban and /tempban — permanent and timed bans, enforced at login.

• /unban and /unmute — lift punishments instantly.
• /ipban and /ipunban — IP bans supporting IPv4 and IPv6 (canonicalized so a ban matches however the address is typed).
• /history — full, paginated punishment history for any player.

Premium Inventory GUIs

• /gavel — an online-player picker hub; click a player to punish them.
• /punish <player> — a guided flow: punishment type, then reason, then duration, then confirm.
• /history <player> — a paginated history viewer; click an active ban or mute to lift it.

Every button re-checks the matching permission, so staff only see the actions they are allowed to use.
Server Security Suite

• /spectate <player> — secretly spectate any player: turn invisible, phase through walls, and click them to see their exact point of view. Run /spectate again to return to where you were.
• Anti-cheat alarm — heuristic checks for Fly, Speed, Reach, Autoclicker (CPS), Nuker, Fast-break and Illegal items. Detections raise per-player violation levels and alert your staff in chat with clickable buttons. Alert-only by default (it never auto-bans legit players) and every threshold is tunable.
• /ac — an anti-cheat security GUI: a live detections feed plus a per-player drill-down with Spectate, Punish, History and Clear-Violations actions.
• /flag and /unflag — a shared staff watchlist; flagged players trigger a join alert and are watched more closely.

One-Click Migration
Switching from another plugin? Import your existing punishments with /gavelimport — supports LiteBans, AdvancedBan and LibertyBans, from SQLite or MySQL/MariaDB source databases, with a --dry preview mode so you can review the results before importing.
Requirements

• Server: Paper or Purpur 1.21 or newer — https://papermc.io/downloads or https://purpurmc.org/
• Java: Java 21 or newer — https://adoptium.net/
• Plugin dependencies: None. Gavel is fully standalone; all database drivers (SQLite, plus MySQL/MariaDB/H2/HSQLDB for migration) are bundled inside the plugin.
