We've completely overhauled the internal logic and added tools that will save you hours of config work.​

REWARDS + EDITOR (GUI)
Forget about manual editing in rewards.yml! You can now find a complete graphical rewards editor in the settings:

• All-in-one GUI: Manage XPS rewards for every tool type (pickaxes, swords, maces, spears, etc.) clearly in one place.
• Quick Add: Click "Add New", type the block or entity name in chat, and the reward is active immediately.
• Global Multipliers: Set a base XP multiplier for an entire tool category with a single click.
• Zero Errors: The editor automatically validates block and entity names, so you don't have to worry about typos in the config.

MULTI-LEVEL COMMANDS
One command is no longer enough. Levels now support a list of commands:

• New Command Editor: A dedicated menu for command management. You can add, edit, or change their order simply by clicking.
• Auto Migration: Your old commands from previous versions will be automatically converted to the new format on first run.

WORLD SETTINGS
Want your gear to only work in a specific world?

• Whitelist / Blacklist: Set a list of allowed or restricted worlds for each item separately via an intuitive GUI.

UX & STABILITY

• Shortcuts: Use Shift + Click to change levels by 10, or the 'Q' key for instant deletion in menus.
• 1.21.5+ Support: Fixed crashes when handling attributes on the latest Minecraft versions.
• Mace & Spear: Full support for the new 1.21 items.

Just upload the new JAR. The plugin will handle everything else - databases and configs will migrate automatically without any data loss!​

Beta: AdvancedEnchantments Support

• AdvancedEnchantments API Integration: This is a beta update adding full support for the AdvancedEnchantments API. You can now use their enchantments within GearEvolution.
• Enchantment Fix: Fixed a critical bug where certain enchantment names (like minecraft:unbreaking) were causing errors and failing to load.

Main Highlights

• In-game Language Selector: You can now change the plugin language directly from the editor. Just go to Global Settings and pick your language. No more restarts needed!
• 10 Native Languages: We now support 10 languages out of the box: English, Czech, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, and Chinese.
• Full 1.21.1 Compatibility: Mojang renamed half of the internal constants, so I've added a compatibility layer to handle it. Particles, enchants, and item flags should now work across all versions from 1.20 up to 1.21.1 without any errors.

The Boring (Technical) Stuff

• Fixed the particle crash on 1.21 (Dust vs Redstone name change).
• Updated how we handle enchantments to use the new Registry system on 1.20.5+.
• Stripped out some old, broken AttributeModifier code that was just causing trouble.
• Improved how persistent data is checked so it doesn't fail on certain Paper versions.

New Stuff

• 3x3 Crafting System: You can finally create custom recipes for your gear. Just use a normal crafting table to make them.
• Ingredient Amounts: Support for stackable ingredients.
• Better Item Matching:
  • Items with custom names or lore require an exact match.
  • Normal vanilla items work with or without NBT (flexible).
    
• In-Game Editor: Added a visual grid to the editor menu. Much easier to set up recipes without touching configs.
• Recipe View: Players can check recipes with /gevo recipe <id>. Opens a GUI showing what they need.

Fixes & Changes

• ⚠ Crafter Block ⚠: 1.21 Crafter is currently blocked for custom recipes. It has weird issues with stack amounts and caching, so please use a normal crafting table for now.
• Database: Auto-migrated data structures for the new crafting system.
• Tab Completion: Added suggestions for the /gevo recipe command.

Bug fixes, new features & visual improvements​

IMPROVEMENTS

• Thread Design Overhaul: The plugin thread has been fully redesigned with a modern, premium aesthetic.
• New Command – /gevo stats: Players can now type /gevo stats while holding a gear item to see a detailed breakdown — Level, Prestige, XP progress, Total XP, and active Prestige XP Multiplier.
• Improved Tab Completion: Fixed a bug where players without gevo.staff permission received broken tab-completion suggestions. Prestige command now correctly suggests online players (instead of gear IDs) for the optional argument.

BUG FIXES

• Prestige XP Multiplier Skipped on Special Kills: Fixed a critical logic error where the Prestige XP multiplier was not applied to Mace fall-bonus XP and Spear charge/throw XP. Players with Prestige II+ now correctly receive the full multiplied bonus on all kill types.
• Admin /gevo addxp Ignores Prestige Multiplier: The /gevo addxp command now grants the exact amount specified, without applying the prestige multiplier — so admin-granted XP is always predictable.
• Help Menu Reload Description: Fixed misleading description of /gevo reload — it correctly states that both config and player items are reloaded.
