I need a good video tutorial that can help me learn how to make plugins. I found a couple on youtube but they are really old so I don't know if most of the stuff they teach are valid. If you a good place for me to start list them below
Umm, what do you mean you found "a couple" on YouTube?
There are thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of videos which teach you a bunch of different elements of plugin programming from events, to GUI's, to database management to full server development series. It just takes a couple minutes to find the right videos.
Just look harder on YT, it is a great place to learn, and along the way if you have problems (actual problems, and not questions that you are too lazy to look up the answers too), then you can ask here, or on Spigot or even a Discord I am in called Codevision which has some extremely talented developers who are there to help.
A great place to start is Pogostick27, in my opinion. However, there are hundreds of thousands of YouTubers who all post videos, along with tons of documentation. My only advice to you is find what you're comfortable with and to follow it. Make sure you also have a solid knowledge of Java, before you begin to learn something that is based in Java, or you are setting yourself up for failure. It's like trying to build a house without any carpentry knowledge.
If you need to know where to learn Java, the same applies; almost anywhere. There's tons of learning resources that could help you out and give you a step in the right direction. Hope I helped in some way.
