Words cannot describe how glad I am this person exists. Kangarko is one of the best developers in the Minecraft buisness i've met, he doesn't look at his plugins as a way to earn money. But as an extention of himself. Helping server admins and players alike.

ChatControl is without a doubt in my mind, a very very very extensive plugin. The custom Rules language he has built alone for his plugin is impressive. And even though the plugin has a small learning curve, most features are done through the game with a few commands. Even his terms are friendly enough for someone who takes a few seconds to read it to understand.

The entire plugin industry this guy has built, together with his programming study (MineAcademy) has blown me away. And I'd love to be a part of it.

The plugin is great and powerful, However, it takes time to configure. I never get in touch with the developer/support since there is a huge wiki on it.

The plugin keeps getting better and better over the weeks/months. I've been using it for nearly a year now (It includes beta testing), and it's truly the best chat management plugin I ever used.

Switched from the Pro version few months ago, i have to say this plugin is what you need for your chat.

It may be a little harder to master than the Pro version, but when you understand how it work, you can do whatever you want.

Only downside is the price, but in long term, it's worth it.

Very Very Expensive plugin for me over $50AU, I personally think it is overpriced for a single plugin. Apart from that disappointment, I have been using Chatcontrol Pro since it first came out and found it somewhat useful, sort of forced to purchase Red to keep my servers updated.

This is the best money I've ever spent for my server. The sheer amount of control I have over every aspect of it is astounding and absolutely amazing. I rarely find something that isn't working, both from my own stupidity and the code-side, because.. well, one, it's so simple to understand and even if you're not very good at configs, there's clear and thorough explanation almost everywhere. And two.. it's just a really good plugin with a really good developer. I have a very long list of developers I've had to talk to who are not the nicest of people... Kangarko is not on this list. They're as quick as they can be when responding, and are even faster at fixing something when they see it's broken or slightly janked. I haven't had a single bad interaction with them, as they seem to always be happy to help even if it's not something wrong and it's just my own brain being faulty. 10/10 recommend, and I will NEVER regret spending my money on this. Ever.

I found this while looking for an anti-spam solution. I tried several other free and paid plugins but spammers always found a way to adjust their settings and get around filtering: ChatControl-Red is the ONLY plugin that was able to compare messages over long periods of time and identify patterns that would otherwise look like normal chat. I should have just bought this instead of wasting money on cheaper plugins that didn't work. I needed to go through the setup videos and wiki docs before CHC was ready for my live server, so don't expect to get a perfect experience without some tweaking and permissions setup. Now that I have this, I can see that it offers way more features than I'm using and can replace 2-3 other plugins. If you are looking for a cool non-P2W reward for players, the ability to show an image in chat via "chc announce image" is very cool: add player head PNGs to the images folder and reward a player by showing their skin face in game chat once a day when they login, or to announce the winner of contest, or some other condition. I love this plugin!

I feel like all I ever do is gripe since we only ever communicate on github when there is some rare issue that pops up but I just wanted to say how much I really liked the improved [book read] feature that was added in Red, that's a massive effort saver for staff, right there. I've appreciated all the changes I've seen from the ChatControlPro to this upgrade, though it did take me more than a few minutes to adjust my config files since I just don't believe in using migration scripts, haha. Anyway, I've liked this plugin very much, please do keep up the good work!

Plugin might seem hard to configure, especially for new developers, but once you get hang of it, it's great, highly flexible, will work on most type of servers.

Great plugin, amazing dev, i'd like to see improvements to the chatcolour gui customisability (e.g. more colour variations and pagination) aside from that this plugin is truely the best of the best, no replacing it.

Best chat plugin ever. I tried quite a few before this one, but none of them were even close to the quality of this one.

Updating my previous review. This is one of the best chat plugins in terms of functionality right now. The performance issues were found and quickly fixed by the dev. Highly recommended to use it for your server.
