Edit: It is kinda unfortunate the server is 1.8 though as 1.9+ has a lot of amazing features. Have you ever considered making it 1.12.2 or 1.13.x and having OldCombatMechanics to allow for 1.8 combat? I've found that almost everyone I've met on MC either:
1. Prefer 1.9 combat over 1.8
2. Would rather have a 1.12.2+ server with 1.8 combat instead of a 1.8 server because it allows to have all of the awesome new features plus 1.8 combat.

I'm not sure the purpose of quoting my comment..? I already know what the EULA does... I was explaining that to someone else. Also, your quote may lead to some misunderstandings. Servers are allowed to sell cosmetic perks. Just not anything that would give an unfair advantage over other players.
Yes, I have thought about the server's version for a while now. People telling me "This version is better" or "That version sucks". It has been back and forth the past month. I understand many people love the new features of the recent MC updates offer however, there are also a ton of people who still like 1.8 as well. Yes, I know there's the OldCombatMechanics plugin. I've tried it myself and also heard both sides of the story with that plugin. The thing is, you can't please everyone. Perhaps in the far future Kingdoms of Argus will overcome a major update or just two server versions, don't know yet.Looks like a good server so far. Finally, a not P2W Kingdoms+ server! Also, I did listen to some of the information you had told me in that discussion we had. I have also added features from that time as well.

Edit: Just to confirm, the actual server is 1.8 correct? And you're using ViaVersion to allow 1.8 - 1.12?

I know that Skycade has already been mentioned, just saying, it's probably the most EULA compliant server on Minecraft right now, arguably, ever. I've actually played on it since launch in December 2015 and was a Mod on it for a while. Very friendly community, and half-decent experience.
Well, we could debate all day about which is the most EULA compliant. Although there's really no "most EULA compliant" because you can't go beyond EULA compliant.
EULA compliant just means absolutely zero P2W and ONLY cosmetics offered. So Hypixel is 100% EULA compliant but that doesn't make it more EULA compliant than any other EULA compliant server. Just worth mentioning. But anyways, I'm glad there are servers like Hypixel and Skycade out there. - Status
