Athena Bot - Dependencies

• Supports Node.js v22.x.x - Newest (v22/v24 LTS recommended)
• MongoDB Database (guide included in the setup guide)
• A machine (VPS, Linux machine, bot hosting) that has at least 1 GB of RAM and at least 1 core (This can change depending on how many members & plugins you have installed). If you choose to enable the dashboard, at least 2-3 GB of RAM is required.
• Lavalink V4 server for music system
• If you enable web transcripts and the REST API, you’ll need one open port. If you also enable the dashboard, you’ll need a total of two open ports.
• Minecraft Addon only: Luckperms, MYSQL, Secondary Discord Bot Account

Auto Updates
Automatic Updates are pulled directly from our backend servers. Please be aware that these files are not verified by the BuiltByBit team and are used entirely at your own risk. This feature is completely optional and can be disabled in the bot’s configuration at any time. The files provided match the official releases published on BBB. By enabling this system you also gain optional access to Developer Builds, early access test-versions including upcoming features. Please note though that these builds come with a slightly higher risk of bugs. Backups are created during the automatic update process allowing you to revert any update by running one of our premade scripts.


License Key
(!) A license key is required to start the bot, upon purchase it can be obtained in our Support Discord.
(!) One license key is restricted to 3 servers. You can host the bot 3 times with the same license key. The bot does currently not support multiple guilds. The guild restriction does not apply to source customers.
