ChatControl - Format & Filter Chat v12.1.5

Absolutely perfect for managing chat. We have been using it for years, and I can't put into words how impressive it is. A must have for any server!

Old ChatControlPro was pretty better than this.
+ This reqiures dependencies in order to run on 1.8.8 and this is not any better than Old ChatControlPro.

Works really well! Also I got great help when running into some problems.

They don't offer good support on their discord, support take too many things for granted and refer to documentation that is confusing, I followed every step specified in the documentation but it didn't work in proxy mode

This is a top-tier plugin. I recommend it whenever a conversation about chat formatting plugins come up. With cross-network features, multi-proxy, mail, PMs, advanced formatting and timed announcements, this plugin has it all. Surprisingly, it performs quite well too, not taking up too much of the server thread justifying its use on production servers.
If you want a quick solution to chat formatting, you can leave a lot of things default and just go forward with it. However for the committed and advanced users who want to build a unique server/network, you can dive into the configuration of this plugin for many hours to take advantage of its advanced features. Buy the plugin and get creative!

Great plugin for everything you'll ever need with chat stuff, and I really recommend the death messages pack, its very funny and creates a lot of laughter with players.

Plugin is good and everything works fine + a lot of nice features like real time message deleting ingame/discord

But its hard to find on `THIS PLATFORM` even if I have bought it as its removed from main plugin page

An Absolute tank for a chat plugin! It is both Aesthetic and feature packed.
There are so many features and the Wiki does an excellent job of covering it all under many scenarios.
I've always been annoyed by chat plugins not having an default good look,
but this one takes the cake on so many levels. I'm currently running it on my Velocity/Paper Network
and love how many plugins i can replace with just this!

Warning to buyers: Learning curve is huge (but simple). It is ESSENTIAL to read through AND follow the instructions
within the /chc tour in order to get the plugin running. I recommend taking a hard scan at the wiki due to
the shear usefulness of this plugin.

WOW! I have been running a Minecraft server for over 10 years and have never seen a plugin this polished. The author is incredibly active supporting and updating it. The config allows you to customize the plugin beyond your wildest dreams. This truly is an all-in-one option for your chat, and there are no other plugins that even come CLOSE to this one!

I'll give you 5 stars since I've always preferred this chat plugin / legacy versions on every server I've ever played. Naturally I had to buy it for myself when I finally decided to make one.

But could you please type out instead of making screenshots on the wiki lol, makes it easier when copying the examples. Not a huge deal if you don't.

The best chat managing plugin so far, at the time I wrote this. Other plugins are just either outdated, or don't have as many features as this! It can even replace some plugins.

By far the best chat plugin available for Minecraft. I've been using ChatControl for several years and have never found anything as flexible and customisable with such a rich set of features. The support has also always been exceptional!

Overall, this plugin has some interesting potential but also comes with certain limitations, primarily due to its usability challenges. The latest version of the resource appears to be stable and functional, which is a positive sign. However, there are areas where it could improve.

In terms of functionality, the plugin effectively delivers on its promises. I haven't encountered significant performance issues or conflicts with other plugins. Nevertheless, there are some features I would like to see improved in future updates.

Support for this plugin is an aspect that could use enhancement. While I understand that reviews should not be used to ask support-related questions, and doing so might result in actions from the creator, it would be beneficial if the developer provided better documentation or a more efficient support system.

In summary, this plugin is solid but has room for improvement. If the developer continues to work on it and addresses some of the current issues and limitations, it could easily deserve a higher rating in the future. The limitations mentioned are related to the wiki; improving the wiki would be beneficial.
