Prospect
Prospect lets players place generator blocks that mine coal, iron, gold, or diamond on their own, filling a personal stockpile over time. Open the dashboard to sell that stockpile for money, upgrade a generator to its next tier, buy more from the shop, or prestige once you have grown enough to reset and come back stronger.

How it works
Buy a generator from the shop, then place it like any block. It quietly mines its material on a timer and banks it into your personal stockpile, up to a cap you can raise in config. Run /prospect to open the dashboard and see every generator you own, upgrade one to its next tier, sell your whole stockpile at once, or jump to the shop for more.



Four resource lines, three tiers each
Coal, iron, gold, and diamond generators ship ready to use, each with three tiers of output, cycle time, and upgrade cost. A tier 1 Coal Generator mines slowly. Upgrade it twice and it works faster for more, all the way up to a maxed out Diamond Generator. Add or edit generator types freely in config.yml.



The prestige loop
Run /prospect prestige to see the cost, then run it again with confirm to lock it in. Prestige spends money, resets every generator you own back to tier 1, and grants a permanent output bonus that stacks with every level, up to 25 by default. It is a long term goal for players who have filled their claim and want to start again stronger.

• A permanent, stacking prestige bonus with a two-step command confirm so it can never trigger by accident.
• A per-material stockpile cap and a per-player generator limit, both set in config.
• Generators are protected from explosions and pistons so one can never be lost by accident.
• Vault economy hook for buying, selling, upgrading, and prestige. Without Vault, generators still place and produce, only the money actions pause.
• PlaceholderAPI support with placeholders for prestige level, output multiplier, generator count, and stockpile value.
• Admin tools: give a player a generator item of any type, reset a player's generators and prestige, and reload config live.

Commands
Base command /prospect. Aliases: /gens, /tycoon.

• /prospect - open the dashboard.
• /prospect shop - open the shop to buy generators.
• /prospect sell - sell your whole stockpile for money.
• /prospect prestige - see the prestige cost (run again with confirm to lock it in).
• /prospect help - show the help menu.
• /prospect give <player> <type> [amount] - give a player a generator item (admin).
• /prospect reset <player> - clear a player's generators and prestige (admin).
• /prospect reload - reload config.yml and messages.yml live (admin).

Permissions

• prospect.use - place, break, and use your own generators, the dashboard, shop, sell, and prestige. Default: everyone.
• prospect.admin - give generators, reset players, reload, and break any generator. Default: operators.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.21 to 26.1.2.
• Paper, Spigot, or Bukkit.
• Java 21.
• Vault plus an economy plugin (such as EssentialsX) for buying, selling, upgrading, and prestige. Optional but recommended.
• PlaceholderAPI is supported but optional.

Installation

1. Drop Prospect-1.0.0.jar into your plugins folder.
2. Start the server once to generate config.yml, messages.yml, and the player data folder.
3. Run /prospect shop as any player, buy a generator, and place it to try it out.
