What Redstone Manager Solves
Unchecked redstone machinery is the silent killer of server TPS. A single clock circuit, a runaway hopper loop, or a mega-farm left running overnight can bring a 20 TPS server down to single digits before anyone notices. Vanilla Minecraft has no guardrails. Redstone Manager watches every redstone event on your server in real time. When a chunk or a single block exceeds configurable thresholds, the plugin acts instantly in the same tick. Clear the offending component, freeze the chunk, or drop the item. You decide. Your TPS stays stable. Your players stay happy.

How Protection Works
Every redstone event flows through a single optimized listener.
Chunk counters and block counters run on fastutil primitive maps with zero boxing overhead.
◆ Chunk Threshold Total redstone events per chunk per cycle. Exceed it and the chunk is actioned.
◆ Block Threshold Events per individual component. Catches clock circuits at the source.
◆ Clock Detection Dedicated rapid-fire detector. Freezes offending blocks for a configurable duration.
◆ Entity Limits Cap entities per chunk. CLEAR or DROP mode. Works alongside redstone protection.
◆ Per-Player Limits Track who placed what. Cap events per player. Pair with per-group limits for ranked tiers.
◆ Per-Group Limits Grant higher thresholds via permission nodes. VIPs get more redstone freedom.

Three Protection Modes
◆ CLEAR Silently removes the offending block. Fastest path. No item drops. No player notification.
◆ FREEZE Disables redstone output from the component. Temporary. Unfreezes after the reset cycle.
◆ DROP Breaks the block and drops the item. Lets players recover their components.
Every action is logged. CoreProtect and Prism integration records removals under user #RedstoneManager. Roll back any action with a single command.

TPS Auto-Disable with Hysteresis
Redstone Manager monitors server TPS independently. If TPS drops below your configured floor, all redstone protection pauses automatically to eliminate any processing overhead. When TPS recovers above your ceiling threshold, protection resumes. This happens without admin intervention. The system uses proper hysteresis so it never flip-flops on borderline values.
This is not a gimmick. It is the difference between a lag spike and a crash loop.
