System Requirements​

Technical Prerequisites​

Runtime Environment​

• Node.js — Version 16.9.0 or higher (LTS recommended for stability)
• npm — Version 8.0.0 or higher (included with Node.js)

Discord Bot Configuration​

• Discord Bot Token — Generated via the Discord Developer Portal
• Required Gateway Intents:
  • Guilds
  • Guild Messages
  • Message Content
• Recommended Bot Permissions:
  • Manage Channels
  • View Channels
  • Send Messages
  • Embed Links
  • Read Message History

File System Permissions​

• Read & Write Accessis required to automatically create and manage:
  • Database files (/data/)
  • Configuration files (/config/)
  • Log files
  • Ticket transcripts (HTML exports)

Configuration Knowledge​

• Basic understanding of YAML syntax (for messages and settings)
• Familiarity with environment variables (.env configuration)
• Ability to edit JSON/YAML files with proper formatting and indentation

Important Notes​

• The bot requires the Message Content Intent to properly process ticket interactions and commands
• Database files are created automatically on first launch
• Configuration files use YAML syntax — correct indentation is mandatory
• Environment variables (.env) are case-sensitive
• Always restart the bot after modifying configuration files
